The identification looks wrong. What now?

Open the scan and use "Not right?". Type what you think it is and Garden Rescue looks at your photo again with your answer in mind, then rewrites the care guide to match. You can correct a scan up to three times.

How do I take a photo it can read?

Get close enough that the leaves, flowers or blades fill most of the frame, shoot in daylight rather than deep shade, and hold still so the edges stay sharp. For a weed, include the whole plant: leaves, stem and flower. For a pest or a disease, get close to the damage itself. Photos of a whole garden from standing height rarely give a confident answer.

Why did it say there was nothing to identify in my photo?

The photo was probably too far away, too dark or of something else entirely. Move closer to the plant and try again.

I used my free scan. When does it reset?

At midnight where you are. Garden Rescue Pro removes the daily limit, lets you look after more than one part of your garden, and adds the Smart Plan.

How do I move my scans to a new phone?

Add your email in the app (Settings, then sign in) and enter the code we send. Your scans and garden plan then follow your account onto any device, including this website.

How do I cancel Garden Rescue Pro?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancel from your iPhone in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the period you have paid for ends.

How do I delete my data?

Delete a single scan from your history, remove a plant or a whole area from My Garden, or delete the whole account from Settings in the app or on this site. Deleting the account removes your scans, their photos, garden areas, plants, notes and care history for good.

Reminders are not arriving.

Check that notifications are allowed for Garden Rescue in your iPhone settings and that reminders are on in the app. Reminders are sent once a day, at the hour you chose, and only when something is actually due.

Still stuck?

Email [email protected]. Telling us what you scanned, what Garden Rescue said and what you expected gets you a useful answer fastest. If it's about a specific scan, send its link.
